The blower I sold you, :). Going with a 2R now

OP,
Not a cheap hobby by any means. There are people on here that can kind of break down in increments how much each 100hp with cost. Kinda cool. But anyways, upgrade the blower is a better option, I think than porting. $2500-$3300 for just a blower

Well coming from the BMW world where everything has a BMW tax these prices are not that bad you guys and now me lol we're kinda lucky.

That's cool, I had the opposite feeling. The R is great, but the power and feeling of that GT500 is epic!!!
It took insurance over 4 months to finally agree to total. During that time I was in a Nissan Versa rental, so that may have contributed to me not noticing the large hp difference between the 14 and the R.

it did something, because like i said i drove the R,and i DO understand they are two different cars for two different things, but the thrill of the GT500 to me the R does not have, and the being planted to the road that you can do in the R the GT500 does not have.since i put michelin ps4s on my car,it does handle so much better the the factory tires.

Two additional things to consider if you're going to be pushing the motor to that power level, are oil pump gears, and oil separators. I recommend at minimum a passenger side oil separator even at stock hp levels so as to not contaminate your intercooler with oil. For 750hp I would be seriously considering oil pump gear replacement so as to not grenade the motor.

You can do it with:
LTH's, Midpipe, Catback
Throttle Body
NSR Cams
Tune

No need to crank up boost.

Here's my conservative opinion. Take what you wish from it.
My stock '13 was fast stock. Yeah we all get tired and want more. That sounds like where you're at.
I wanted more, but not a drag car with drag car problems.
I wasn't fixated on a HP number, just wanted more.
Pulley, twin 67 TB, and VMP tune got me from 595 RWHP stock to 675 RWHP on crappy 91 octane.
I have tires & suspension mods to hook 100% of the power.
It's as fast/quick as it needs to be for me. More power & I'd have to lift or spin.
I guess my point is, does it have to be 750 RWHP? And if you get there will you be happy when a setup like mine w/675 RWHP walks you?
Not trying to be an ass here, just trying to figure out your goal. So don't take it wrong.
Big power can be harnessed. But that setup would take it from a street car to a dedicated track car.
And, would need to be on a prepped track to make it work.

I'm editing pics now but I'll be listing my ported Gen 2R and the ported/welded stock TVS I sold my tuner.
I'm at 965and he's at 930rwhp so we both wanted to try TVS2650.

750rwhp is easy and safe with these cars. Pointless without good tires (DRs, minimum Toyo R888 if no DR) and respect the octane and rpm.
At 750rwhp and above, you'll want E85 or pump 93 with Torco and you'll want to limit rpm to shifts at 6500rpm for OPG.
Had a busy work week and lots of garage time, but I'll throw up some pics and posts as it's seems we have some new guys wanting big power, good deal.
