This really should be easy but for the ****ing life of me I cant find the problem.

I use 3 emails. 1 personal and 1 for each business I run. All Gmail. about a year ago, I noticed that I was no longer able to "right click" and save a photo attachment. across all 3 emails. both businesses require me to do a lot of pictures and sometimes I email those to myself to save on my laptop at home. open the email, click the picture, right click and save.

now when I right click on any picture i open from emails, nothing happens. WTF i have scoured settings and google searched and nothing. I am stumped. Now i have to hit the download arrow in top right corner, then it opens up a picture editing software program, which takes forever. Wait for the pic to load, then save it.

Windows 7 premium. HP 6530b older style laptop

thank you and a 6pack of your favorite suds for anyone who can solve this.

Curious whether this behavior is browser specific. Have you tried a different browser to see if the issue carries over? Hard to say whether it is browser or OS setting related.

There should be a download button in the upper right corner after you click on a picture attachment

Do you have access to Outlook? I have over six mailboxes setup in Outlook - gmail, exchange, hotmail etc. It is much better and convenient compared to checking emails in a browser. Most businesses use an email client like Outlook.

Perhaps hers wasn't "updated" yet......just guessing??
I have the latest Chrome update and I don't have that issue on any of the computers that I use. Have never had that issue.

Could it be an App that is causing it? Try disabling your Apps in Chrome, if you have any, and see if the issue remains. Just a thought.
