So I'm going to change the engine coolant soon since it's warm out.
Is it worth upgrading anything while it's drianed? Already have the reiche theromsat and lethal passenger cooling mod.

I have a heat producing 2.9 Whipple on 93 pushing 600 plus rwhp.

Like the radiator to 3 core? Worth it??
Mine is stock now. I have read mixed reviews since aftermarket ones seem get holes.... and people end up replacing them 3 times... Not something I want to do.

Should I change the water pump to a Stewart? Pretty sure it's stock still.

Anything else for the engine circut. Looking for suggestions. Car will be running on e85 next summer with power goals of 700 to 750 rwhp.

I'll takle the intercooler circut next year.

I had a line on a 3 core setup that has worked really well for some and they were $150 shipped but once word got out the company sold out. Let’s put it this way with A/C on and it being 100 out I run 196 with a stant 180 thermostat. There was another company making a 3 core and 3 row rad but they were sold out. I only use the Gates stock replacement pump but may up to Stewart this year not sure may save that for my teksid build I want to do.

So your saying 3 core is a valuable upgrade for a heat producing monster like my car.

Does the stock not perform well with the mods.

Any links to these 3 cores I'll ask when they are back in stock

So for anyone coming in the company that makes the radiator has started again. Anyone who takes the jump to get them now they come with two 12” fans. If I had the money I’d try to build a new fan shroud and box the radiator. But they are $150 still I’ll post the link to the eBay page since they shut their old webpage down. They have multiple sets.
3-ROW ALUMINUM RADIATOR+2X 12"FAN KIT BLACK FOR 97-04 FORD MUSTANG GT/SVT V8 MT | eBay

This was the cheapest one I found; it appears to be the same as the other I sent to OP (minus the fins on top), if OP can paste the link here because I lost that link already.
*disclaimer* some have had problems with these; of the 10 I did for people all worked great. Mine had a tear in the o-ring for the drain plug which is a easy fix with tape on threads. Craziest results I had was temps dropping during pulls on the second person I put one on. He was running a 2.76 and 4 lb lower car with 4.10’s. It would drop 6 degrees on a pull from 189-183/2.

Ill put in my vintage input. If you do decide on a bigger radiator, Thicker, Etc. I highly suggest you box your radiator in and take a real good look at your air dam. I had pretty high temps before I created a new air dam and boxed in my radiator. Now I never see temps over 200. With A/C etc. Also I've had very good luck with Amsoil Dominator Coolant boost. It helps as well. Edit: Make sure your fan settings are also adjusted correctly as well!

But if you have any questions feel free to message me, I can get into the extreme details on how to keep these cars cool. Heat is one of the worst enemys of terminators. And after years of trial and error I know what works.

Do you think our electrical system can handle those fans? Or would relays be a good idea? Unless it wouldn't take much to get the stock fan to work.

those fans probably suck in comparison to stock honestly. I looked for a long time for my mach and the only fan I could find that outperformed stock was the lincoln mark 8 fan you can only find in a junk yard. The majority of these aftermarket fans have CFM ratings well under the stock unit and the ones that are up there with it are misleading. Most aftermarket ones are rated with zero restriction - ie no radiator in front of it, put one in front of it and the cfm rate plummets

That's kind of what I've noticed as well. Unless you get something high end like a Spal. My grandparents are running an aluminum radiator with a Spal fan in their 57 T-Bird with no issues in Az. But it's not a worked over monster. It's a stock 5.0 that they only take out on nice days. Or at a certain time of day.

The stock fan bolts right up; you can see the mounting tabs on the sides of the radiator on the tanks. I’ve seen those fans in person before and they aren’t big, they would work good for maybe a heat exchanger fan. But they aren’t mandatory.
The mark 8 fan is your best option for high CFM, I modified a mark 8 blade to work on the stock motor and it pulls more air but definitely not worth the hassle. I’m thinking of finding a mark 8 housing at a junkyard that hasn’t disintegrated and try to get it in the car, shouldn’t be too hard.
