Do the vents and coupes drive differently?

Hi,
I know the couple have a higher spring rates versus the verts and I know the chassis is stiffer. There is also a weight difference too. My question is, how noticeable is it? Has anyone driven both? Can anyone share their experiences?

Thanks,
Henry

I know my convertible rattled but I didn't have a coupe for comparison. Also, I just attributed that to a 14 year old car.

I would assume the vert rides like a couch vs the coupe..

LOL, have no idea what that means LOL.

I have both. The Coupe is pretty much stock except for some lowering springs. The Vert has extra bracing from the factory and the previous owner put sub-frame connectors in and it has lowering springs.

When I hit a bump in the Vert I really feel it and it rattles like crazy for my taste. The coupe feels more comfortable (not Cadillac comfortable, but better than the Vert). Not sure what it is, but my Vert feels tighter (flex wise, not suspension wise) than my coupe, but that could be the sub-frames in the vert and the extra stiff suspension.

The Vert is fun with the top down, but for overall driving experience I prefer the feel of the coupe.

My vert rides good, not harsh at all, although it does have a few suspension upgrades, FTBR bushing kit, full length subframes, I dont experience the rattle in the cabin as describe by others, The main reason I was sold on this particular car.

Yes they do. Depends on the setup alot however, In stock form the vert's are alot less rigid than the coupe. With this being said, both the coupe and vert have alot of room for improvement for the chassis. I almost have the complete Stifflers setup, The only thing I'm missing is the strut tower brace, Once I find out if it will clear the new VMP TVS Gen III. I'll get it. It seriously put my old Full length Subframe connectors to shame. By the way I have a coupe. But I've been in a Cobra Vert with a similar setup, Long story short, Its worth it!
