Finally brought the cobra back to track

98 cobra built motor procharger d1 making 17lbs only 14 degrees of timing. FB manual vb trans. Didn't use the transbrake or 2 step no way the track was going to hold it. The drag radial are about 2 seasons old so the plan is to go next year with a new set, add some timing and go on a better night and maybe use the 2 step or brake. Looking for 9s and i'm done. No cage is going into the car.

nice run, be easy....your lucky they are letting you run as fast as you are currently without a cage....

Trans brake and 2 step are where its at. Just set the 2 step low and you should hook. lol just gotta find a sweet spot

I just ran 2 9 second passes and my track didn't even budge. I bet i could run 8s without anyone telling me to leave because no cage. But thats why i go to that track

That was my last pass of the night. I ran other run but always let off after the 1/8th. I got the boot after that run and was asked not to come back until all safety equipment is install. I assume they will forget about me hopefully

Probably not, but they might give you the benefit of the doubt if you showed up with a set of drag wheels and slicks and acted innocent (that wasn’t me). Until your first pass anyways. Lol

What was your trap speed, Nick? Nice run! Do you ever run at Lebanon?

Trapped at 134. 1/8 trap was 108. It's only dynoed at 600rwhp but that's though the auto. Never been to Lebanon valley if they weren't strict on the safety I'd go just to get multiple full passes but I heard I'd get kicked out there too.
