Dropping the heat exchanger solves the fitting hitting the bumper horn. It just barely stays within the bumper cover. Will have to be extra careful with curbs and really tall speed bumps.

More fiddly bits.

Flaming River shaft in and header dimpled.

Full exhaust fitting. Will need to trim the front of the catback and couple of slip joints. The hangers on the MBRP mufflers in a word, sucked. They were so bad they thought MBRP sent the wrong system. They do however, look pretty damn awesome. The whole exhaust is really tucking up nicely. I am probably going to add some resonators.

More fiddly bits. The price on the hose is astounding! Yowser!

I was told it is not completely obvious what is going on with the coolant bulkhead, so a little diagramming.

A little more progress, some of the hose fittings for the intercooler didn't ship as promised. Bulkhead under the seat in mounted and sealed. Decided to hard mount pump with rubber isolation. They will use a 150 degree fitting to get output headed the right direction. Not my favorite solution, but the best one I guess.

More fiddly bits test fitting and waiting for some parts as fitting/moving issues come up.

I bought some used Santhuffs struts and had the seller ship them straight to Santhuffs to be refurbished. They were a little tickled to see them as they were one of the very first sets they had sold. Based on racing, they have updated some things over the years, so the refurbishment was a little spendier than anticipated. The end result is outstanding however and still saved quite a bit over buying new. For all practical purposes, they ARE brand new. If I ever wanted to, I could have them updated to double adjustable.

More fiddly bits work getting done. Still waiting on various fittings to come in. Making up some fuel rail spacers. Some confusion caused by my injector selection and injector adapter sizing.

They had to do a little filing on the block for alternator, but it was very minor. The intercooler is on for good.

Intercooler hose and fittings all done. Still have to tidy up where the hose penetrates the rear seat bulkhead. PCV fitting is in the way of the cobrajet cai. Going to cap that and the fitting on the other side. Will carefully tap both VCT caps I installed and run to breather tank most like placed next to the power steering tank. Still fitting stuff and waiting for a few parts to come in. Since the VMP MAF has iat output, trying to figure out how to display that with intercooler iat.

Also, figuring out suspension shit.

Waiting for various fiddly bits to come in. New valve cover fittings in. Going to use a lightning style screw in IAT intercooler temp sensor for input to the ECU. Will use a PLX IAT sensor to display on my PLX gauge in car.

Finally decided to go with the: BMR SB042 - Sway Bar Kit With Bushings, Rear, Adjustable, Hollow 25mm to replace the FRPP sway bar. Will go with Viking double adjustable shocks to go with the Santhuffs single adjustable fronts. Wanted to go with Santhuffs for the rear, but am just bleeding to much cash out. I can always change those later.

I totaled up what I have spent on just hose fittings and hose, so far...$1,800. The little shit adds up so damn fast!

Pretty neat how the E85 sensor is plumbed into the return line. Decided to run a drain line from the catch can to drain pan. Pick up a third location for the motor to breath from as well.

That coolant setup is neat! The price of AN fittings sure does add up, but you really save yourself a ton of trouble later on because of how easy and efficient the connection is. Were excited to see what else is in store!
