Just bought a cobra spec t56. Gonna get input shaft and QuickTime bellhousing and a promotion performance clutch. Probably only be in the trans 1200 bucks after I sell the t5.

Gotta love a Notch build. Should be nice when you finish. Keep us posted as you progress. The body looks to be in nice shape. Are you going to re-paint it?

Probably not anytime in the near future. Cuts into my go fast budget

Also damn t56 is a heavy sob. Guess I gotta pull some extra weight lol.

Well, LMR just got a lot of my money lol.

Ordered:

Team Z k member kit (couldn't resist. Almost $100 off and cheaper than UPR)
Team Z street beast uppers
Team Z axle bushings
SVE O/R X pipe
Stifler's t56 crossmember
94/95 Cobra master cylinder
Moser 5 lug 31 spline axles
AC delete kit
Misc rear disc brake conversion stuff

Also bought a Quicktime bellhousing. Just need a clutch and input shaft now.

Cool project. I've got a 93 notch that needs reviving. I'm interested in hearing your experience with Haltec, since I will be considering a replacement for the Tweecer as well.

Gotcha. I race in higher DA in the summer(Bristol, TN) and we have DA in the 4-5k+ range during the summer. People don't understand how much it actually kills power especially on a N/A setup. Either way, it'll run good and be fun!!! Keep us updated.

Will do.

Think I decided on a Spec 3+ clutch.

Now to figure out what to do about the tail housing on the trans..

Sounds like its going to be an awesome build! Can you keep us updated on your experience on the team z parts fitment, quality, etc.? Also, any particular reason why you ordered a new master cylinder?

Im in the midst of doing my rear disc cobra brake swap on my 93 coupe, just thought Id ask; perhaps I should go with a new master cylinder as well - thanks!

Well more parts here.

Spec 2+ clutch 26 spline (here)
amp distributing 26 spline input shaft (here)
BBK longtubes and x pipe (ordered. found used ceramic coated 1 5/8" set for cheap)
Spintech super pro streets (need to order)

Still gotta order a couple things to finish 5 lug/disc brakes and t56 swap.

Car likely won't see boost this year. But...it will see a 150-175 shot. Might see if I can get booted this year. Then come back next year with cage and boost.

Everything I've read says you need a better master cylinder when upgrading to bigger front brakes.

And so far the team z stuff looks top notch.

I do not own a fox but I have Team Z's entire front and rear suspension and the fitment is flawless. I have not encountered one fitment issue with any of their products
