Hey guys. Been working on tuning my twin turbo cobra and hoping to get a little feedback on these plugs. NGK BR7EF’s, e85, 15psi and 17 degrees timing. #8 seems to be much cleaner than the rest. I’m still educating myself on reading E85 plugs, so I’m not quite sure what to think of these...
I’m thinking it may actually be something with the downpipes. I opened the cutouts and now I’m not hearing the noise. It may be because it’s just too loud now to hear it. Here is a clip for another set of ears to hear.
Open exhaust
Hoping I can get some new ears on this noise to send me in another direction. My Cobra is TH400 swapped and has been making this noise for 2 years. It has a new SFI flexplate and new ARP hardware for both flexplate to crank and converter to flexplate. This noise has been the same the whole time...
Anyone running a MS3Pro or other stand-alone ECU care to share their timing maps? I’m more interested in the idle area. I have some decent cams in my car and am having trouble getting the lope out of them. Thanks in advance!
Doing some maintenance on the car and took off the passenger valve cover due to some noises at idle I’m trying to chase down. Does the lobe wear on these comp cams look normal? Looks pretty even across the board but wanted a second opinion.
Hey guys, I am at my whits end with this noise and hoping some new sets of ears can help. This has been going on for over a year and nothing I do changes it. This is on a 4.6 DOHC twin turbo with a TH400 behind it.
-New flexplate properly torqued with ARP bolts
-Flushed and replaced...
No MAF. Wasn’t sure if I could use that since it says that one is defaulted to MAF even though I’m not running one. So I could use Analog 1 as signal, 5v ref for power and then sensor ground? Or do I externally power and ground?
That’s my plan. I really just want to be able to see actual pressure and not add another gauge inside the car. All of my digital in inputs are taken with transbrake, bump and flex. Digital in 4 doesn't show up as an option in tunerstudio for some reason.
Anyone have any idea what input to use on the auxiliary I/O harness to add a 3 wire oil pressure sensor? Or if there is a better way to log actual oil pressure within Tunerstudio?
Mine is a custom made hat that was made to function and look just like the old Fore hats. This one was made to accept an external pump…basically a sump system but from the top instead of the bottom of the tank. I don’t like the set up and it leaks, so I’m going with a Division X dual pump...
It looks tight, but I may have found another issue that may be causing this. The fuel hat is custom made as he decided to go with an external pump that pulled from the top (I feel like this is a bad idea). This is just a flat stock of billet with a couple fittings coming out of it, but looking...
