So i have a 99 svtc with about 74k on it, and it is overheating.
i am hoping it is just the thermostat and not the water pump because i know that have a problem with the plastic impellars. Here are some observations that might help diagnosis the problem

about 4 months ago i had posted about my car having trouble with the fuel system causing the car to bog down and stutter. Since then i have replaced the fuel pump with and had an SVT tech look at it and verified that i had low fuel pressure. i have also spent 600 dollars to have the dealership...
can the entire SVTF fuel pump assembly be substituted for the stock unit in my 99 SVTC
is so do i have to replace anything like lines, regulator, ect. to handle the higher pressure?

Ok, ive tried replacing the fuel filter, the fuel pump and sock, and i have also removed the silk disk at the bottom of the essembly.
I don't know what else to try other then replacing the assembly, but what could go wrong with fuel pump assembly that would cause my engine to lean out at full...
Alright, so i finally go my Fuel pump replaced last weekend and I am still have the same problem with my car at about 4750 to 5250 RPM. and now my gas gauge appears to be stuck on full.
