Louvers with black anodized hardware, they look new as seen from the outside:
Full disclosure:
The car was involved in an accident and the right vent was bent:
After some straightening the original contour was restored and externally they look great, but there is an...
Thanks for the kind words. I believe flow was projected to be around +20GPM, I never actually tried to measure it myself. Large plumbing is the easy part (relatively). After that it seems the restriction point in most systems is at the transfer tubes in/out of the intercooler. Go as big as your...
I installed the VMP 1" intercooler on my 2014 GT. While not a GT500, I can speak about the VMP upgrade in general. Installed along with Dept of Boost Titanic H/E & POWA pump and plumbed with -20 aluminum tubing and hose, the results were outstanding for controlling heat during road course events...
Once stripped of suspension, drive train, wiring harness and electrical components; Is there any difference between these 2 chassis?
I ask because while searching for a salvage car to rebuilt with the remains of my wrecked GT I keep seeing sky-high auction bids for GTs while the 6 cyl. models...
You can try it, probably already have since it's easy and there's not much to lose. My guess... might improve a little when stationary but when accelerating/decelerating/cornering probably not much. A bypass line is Ford's answer in the GT500

Track insurance is almost always a huge waste of money, just be aware of the consequences if going without.
Yessir. I'm actually feeling lucky that other cars or injuries didn't enter the equation too. The costs could be potentially devastating.
Motorsports enthusiasts, CHECK YOUR INSURANCE!!!
I recently switched my insurance company. I believe my previous policy covered 'non competitive' track events, but I didn't confirm this detail when I switched.
Word to the wise:
More insurance policies are excluding any motorsport activity, check your policy before participating. Special track...
I'm looking for a salvage car because I wrecked mine at the track recently, but my r/h quarter panel is still perfect. Hoping to swap whatever a salvageable car needs from my wreck
I was planning on tackling this one myself. Watched a few YouTubes of the process and while definitely a big job...
