I got mine online - no complaints with it

    Mystery water leak?

So after over a year of sitting with the cooling system apart, and having just completed my new VMP intercooler install, I fired her up for the 1st time last night. I noticed a slow drip coming from the block/bellhousing seam, apparently clear water. I had just filled the engine cooling system...

I got my tubing locally but you can probably find aluminum tubing near you with a quick Google search. If you go this way I recommend using 6061 aluminum alloy for reliable weld joints. You could try this link too...

Yes, fittings and sharp bends will add restriction to fluid flow. A solution I found to work great: Create a mock-up of the custom molded hose you wish you had, using some firm wire (an old coat hanger will do). Run it down to the auto parts store and find the hose that contains the shape you...

I guess there is one safe way to buy this stuff!

    J2Fab Intercooler hell

It's too bad such nice stuff is being marketed by an individual with a growing reputation for poor business practices, lack of moral scruples, and a callous disregard for his customers situations. I'll never recommend supporting any product from Justin Wheeler aka J2fab, and strongly advise...

BEST SUPERCHARGER FOR THE MONEY ON A STOCK BOTTOM

If I had a dollar for each time someone said this in earnest, and 5 from repeaters, I'd be pushing 1500rwhp by now!

I have access to a mandrel tube bender. Pre-formed sections are pricier but available. (90, 45, 120, 180 degree bends) A long precisely formed tube with multiple bends gets tricky, a tiny error at one end results in a significant location change at the other. Mostly I cut sections, aligned as...

The best way to ensure there's no air in a system is by using a vacuum filler, I use one like this: It can leak check the system under vacuum too before filling . That being said, after filling there are operating conditions that may create the need for degassing. I wouldn't recommend deleting.

In at the top, out on bottom. Need some flow through to allow any circulating bubbles an escape path.

My Road Course setup in progress: For max flow I'm running 1.25" aluminum tubing & 1.25" hose throughout my system. I used tubing because at 1.25" it's still as compact as 1" hose O.D. No sharp 90° fittings anywhere, all large radius bends. 45° & straight 20AN fittings at the intercooler. No...

You may want to think about running a 1" line in parallel with the reservoir, T's off that to run 3/4 to the resevoir, bypassing most of the flow. Full flow from a 1' fitting will create severe turbulence in the reservoir and likely aerate the coolant.
