I'm sure some of yall have thought of doing this.....
Wrapping/dipping the middle bumper between the upper and lower grilles to get the 2020 look.
Mine's race red with the complete stock look around the car. What do yall think of that section in gloss or matte black?
Here's an INCREDIBLY...
What pieces did you do? I like the cf look on the hood and on the wing, but not sure how to revitalize the other black plastics - grille, chin spoiler, side mirrors, trim below windshield. Would it be worth it to have those dipped black? Painted black? One of the "plastic trim restorer" kits?
OK wow this was just the answer I was looking for. Shows my little knowledge on these cars, as I apparently have the twin 60 since it is stock. Yeah I'll get in touch with my tuner so I can keep an eye out for folks parting with theirs.
Didn't realize how much higher cfm the 65s have over...
There are A TON of TBs out there with different shapes, diameters, CFMs...
I'm wondering what would be the progression as far as size/performance, starting from the stock '13-'14. I know I have a twin 65, but I see Ford Performance 65, VMP 65, then 67, etc.
What would be a good upgrade?
Haven't done much. O/R X and 2.4 upper really. It's commanded to hit 81* degrees but just wont.
You're right about 5* though. I'm more curious about the lack of smooth increase in * per the screenshot above...
@Snoopy49 these are very helpful. Where did you find those images from Ford? Great breakdown of every component.
Also, thanks for pointing out which cooler is where. I thought the one in the upper grille was the oil cooler...
It's just the OEM one. Previous owner had the CJ monoblade but swapped it to stock. Maybe there is an issue with it?
Yeah mine run pretty close but it lulls then jumps up (see image)
