From what I understand, the GEN 3 factory heads flow better then all the other factory heads. I also understand they have direct injector ports on them. My question is do they sell kits that will allow you to retro fit the gen 1 and gen 2 blocks or is there another reason why they will not work...
ISO 88mm VMP supercharger pulley. Really don't want to buy new if I don't have to. Please let me know what you have. I may also be interested in trading an 82mm 6-rib VMP pulley as well. Let me know.
Good Morning,
I have went round and round with trying to decide what fuel system I want for my car. It's a 2013 Mustang GT with Gen 2 stock block, LT headers, 3"catted midpipe, Gen 1 heads and cams, VMP Gen3R with currently an 82mm pulley, FIC 1000 injectors , OPG, crank sprocket that is...
.028 is the gap. Also can someone tell me the length for the belt on the passenger side of a 2013 Mustang GT with a GEN3R blower with 88mm pulley? One suggestion was K060825 one was K060806. Let me know that as well. Done some data logging and noted that according to a friend of mine (Who is...
Yes I used the NGK 6510. I'm not sure what could be the issue. I replaced the coil and plug and the code returned so definitely continue to provide any suggestions.
Interesting I looked at mine and I could actually remove both bolts without issue. They only thing I would have had to do was bend a 10mm wrench for the inner bolt but would clear without issue. Interesting.
Hello again fam
The GEN3R is installed. Excited about that, but have some codes showing up surrounding misfires. The codes are as follows: P0300, P0302,P0304, P0316, P0507, P2195, P2197. The last two are O2 sensor stuff. If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions please share them. Also full...
Chuck and the VMP staff had restored my faith. My issue isn't quite resolved....but they have responded anytime I have had questions. I understand playing phone tech most of the time don't help. I have used videos and photos and we are still coming up short. The point is they have continued to...
Just as I posted my concerns I wanted to come back and say Chuck was very quick to respond and take the situation and handle it accordingly. Chuck @ VMP Performance done a great job communicating with me about what the issue was and what he needed to do to get it resolved. He not only was able...
Thank you for that. The point is why did it have to get to this point??? Note I did not say anything regarding my experience because I wanted to provide a fair opportunity to get it resolved, but I also felt the matter was not being taken seriously.
Like I stated earlier I really hope they take the opportunity to do right by a customer who invested quite a bit. I understand the pandemic has impacted production as well as every other stair step process in the US but customer service is something that is free and doesn't require a price tag...
Before I provide my story I'm going to allow them an opportunity to fix the issue. I want to know if this type of customer interaction is standard or one in a hundred. Based off some of the responses outside of here....I'm very shocked and surprised. After a short amount of time I will be forced...
Hello Mustang Community
I would like to get some feedback on service after the sale concerning VMP performance and see if I am possibly an outliner and not the normal.
