    My 96 Cobra initially made 596rwhp/450rwtq with 18 pounds of boost on 91 Octane. We installed a wastegate and capped the boost to 15 and it made around 550. The motor is built with 9:1 compression.

    Vortech Leaking

    I was changing the oil today and noticed oil residue on the intercooler piping. I checked around the head unit and saw oil around the discharge side. Any ideas what the problem could be?

    Dyno day almost here

    Car seems down on power to me. For reference, my 96 made 550rwhp at 15 pounds with a T-Trim on 91 Octane. Car has B heads with stock cams and 9:1 compression. On the first pull, the car actually made 590rwhp at 18psi.

    Upgrading the A/C condenser is just as important as the radiator when upgrading the cooling on a 96. If you still have the stock 96 piece, that's a big part of your problem. Also, if you're running an under drive pulley on the water pump, that's not helping your cooling either.

    I have not tried that but I thought that method has no effect on a fuel injected car? Correct me if I'm wrong. Honestly, it might be an injector leak. When I shut the car off, I do smell a little hint of gas when I get out the car. I did the blower install in November and the problem...

    Ya it's cranking at normal speed and just not catching. Car does not sputter or anything.

    The car starts right up when cold but if I drive around for 30 min or so, it has a hard time turning over. Any ideas? IAC valve? Coil Pack? Other fuel related issue? You can hear the car cranking fine, it just struggles to turn over. Car is a 96 Cobra with a Vortech. Thanks

    T56 gets stuck in 1st

    What's the best method or product I can use to bring the wheels back to life? I've only used Meguiars All wheel cleaner when washing and Poorboys wheel sealant a couple times so I'm not sure what caused this. Wheels are Satin Black HREs that are maybe 4 years old.
