K and K does awesome work.
Small review if interested:
I purchased a window cowl, UPS must have dropped it pretty hard because there was a small crack (barely visible). I mentioned it to K and K and no questions asked, he offered a full refund or to send it back for another one.
I didn't...
If you can find a SOS pod, id go with that. The quality is excellent and is by far the best looking imo.
Just make sure you get the right one, if you have a coupe, make sure it was made from a coupe pillar.
That's a benefit for sure! IMO its worth the extra money to find something that is as close to stock as possible with as little owners as possible and as documented as possible.
In my cobra experience, miles are less of a indicator that a car was taken care of than how many owners it has had...
Depends on what it comes with. Does it have the motor and trans with it? Stock IRS? Stock interior? Wheels? Color?
If its just the car with interior I'd estimate 10-12k. I sold a DSG no motor or trans. Had a fore fuel system and full interior for 10k a couple years ago. Paint was nice, but was...
I had been looking for something for a while. I recently "finished" the cobra and had the itch for another toy.
I looked at GT350s, 13/14 GT500s, c6z, 21-23 Mach 1s, 17-19 c7 grand sports which all came in from 40-60k. At the end of the day I decided I just didn't want to spend that much so I...
It has a stock rear end other the the 4.10 gears. I plan to address that eventually. I want to focus on some appears stuff first. I'm thinking I want some welds. Probably some new headlight and address the roof situation. I don't think I'll do much more performance wise. If I have the urge to...
haha, i know man.. I came across this and couldn't pass it up.
11k miles. heads, cam, intake, fullexhaust.
Its not fast, especially after driving the cobra, but its fun and makes "useable power." I had a 96Z28 in high school and always wanted to get back into one of these eventually. So I'm...
Already talked to the OP but in case anyone else is wondering…Fitment is great, I did throw a 3/8ths spacer in the rear to pop it out just a bit.
Finish has help up so far. But I rarely drive the car

I agree the dude should be blasted. Especially since you said he parts out cobras and someone in the community will likely deal with him in the future.
Well that's good. Id be less concerned now. My biggest concern would have been if they put a junk yard mach1/96-01 cobra motor in..
It sucks to not know the mileage and everything, but if the motor is healthy I'd take that as a positive. Dude is a POS for lying straight to your face, but it...
That sucks man. I would do a compression check or leak down to verify the health of the motor..... Then after that I'd want to lay eyes on the the crank/rods before throwing any serious power at it.
Is it an iron block?
