the idler pulley wraps the belt most of the way around the 2.8 pulley - but I noticed at the bottom of the 2.8 pulley when I look I can see both belts - and the drivers side front of the belt is a tad back from the front of the other sides belt - how can this happen?

I need to install the R12a update into my predator - followed the Diablo instructions many times and can't get the computer and predator to "talk" to each other -- but I can load a custom tune int the thing - Anybody load the R12 update??? can you offer some pointers?
