Stock suspension, alignment won't dial into spec...

Thanks for the info, that's definitely what I needed to hear. I understand what you're saying, but it's good to read it and have a solid plan. I would actually rather they had said "yeah you need damn near everything cuz it's all shot"... I've been expecting to hear it for years now ~ hell...

Stock suspension, alignment won't dial into spec...

Me too! Definitely increased my suspicion! Mileage is about 70k. Yeah, I figured with the issues going on that something is probably worn out - not a big deal. So I even specifically asked them to check the front suspension components. They said everything looks good. So if everything is...

Stock suspension, alignment won't dial into spec...

Not sure, but below is a pic from last year when I had it aligned previously (which does include a before & after). At the time I didn't catch that the results were still out of spec ~ they said it was all good, and I didn't question it... until the tires kept on wearing funny >.< Yessir...

Stock suspension, alignment won't dial into spec...

'03 Cobra 'vert. Stock suspension and wheels. Getting uneven tire wear, so I took it to the Dealer (yeah, I know) for alignment. They adjusted it as close as they could, but weren't able to get it into spec (pic of results attached). I was told that I need a "camber kit" to allow them to...

WTB: Stock 03/04 Cobra Pulley Cover

Want to Buy a stock pulley cover for '03 / '04 Cobra. My upper stud broke at the cover, probably due to a mechanic leaning on it :-/ I've had it tack-welded back together, but I'd like a good, solid original to put on the shelf for the future. Thanks, Mike B. [email protected]

    Intercooler leak? Replacement options?

About 65k miles. Daily driven, but my commute is only about 10 minutes each way. Not ideal for the car, but it is what it is. Got my car back Monday night, and today the roads are finally dry enough to...umm... "properly test for full functionality, post-repair". >.> I have to say, my car...

    Intercooler leak? Replacement options?

Well, it doesn't seem that there are any other aftermarket vendors for the intercooler, so LFP it is. I was a bit suprised that they didn't have one in stock, but they quoted me a 3 day build and $40 for overnight shipping. It arrived at the dealer this morning, right on time. Haven't seen...

    Intercooler leak? Replacement options?

Stopped at the dealer this morning. Yeah, it was definitely leaking and probably has been for quite some time ~ oil and coolant are cooked in the intake there like chocolate pudding, the way mama used to make it on the stove top! Yum? Put a new intercooler on order this morning with LFP ~ 3...

    Intercooler leak? Replacement options?

I figured the obvious "clean" spot was from the coolant vaporization. The car is at the dealer, so I haven't seen it in person. Going off of what the dealer says he found. These are the other pics I have...

    Intercooler leak? Replacement options?

Ok, I'm pretty sure I have an intercooler leak. I have been losing intercooler coolant slowly for a while now. Had to pull the unit to replace the EGR hose due to lean codes, and this is what it looks like inside.... Does this look like a leaking intercooler to you? (it sure does to me) What...

    Intermittant Noise during warm startup

Ok fellahs, I've searched and read and can't find anything that matches what my cobra is doing... Intermittant clacking sound at startup that seems to happen when it is only moderately warm. '03 Cobra, 46k miles, daily driver (8 mile commute), no mods, no previous mechanical issues...

Spotted these 2 today while surfing around; They are wrecked / salvage. 2003 Yellow convertible VIN: 1FAFP49Y53F417997 Copart 2004 Red coupe VIN: 1FAFP48Y44F156459 Copart One is in TX, the other in CT. Not sure what you need to do to bid, but they could be worth a few bucks...

    One More Gone: 1FACP42D4PF175090

...or at least "Well Toasted". I guess it may be possible to save it, but probably not cost effective. I'm guessing it is destined to be a donor car. 1FACP42D4PF175090 Copart Looks like it was a teal w/ sunroof. Not sure what color interior was originally, but it's black now >.>
