Mark, I am Bill (Georgia Snake). Questions on your Mach 1. Humor me, LOL. Ok your car has a 351W 2 bbl. As a 70 model it should have a 351C 2 bbl. However...I have seen a few 70 Mach 1's with factory correct 351W's if they were assembled very early in the model year at the factory (first few days to a couple of weeks into the model year). Now I am not asking you for your VIN number, I consider that private info. If you would, check and decode your Vin info for me. Also, if it is still there, check and decode the data plate/placard in the drivers side door for the build date info. I am curious about your Mach 1. I am curious if it is an early enough build to have the Windsor. You can PM me with what you find out. I just like to track these things for my personal knowledge. Helps me when folks call on me to help verify the history of a Mustang and in doing appraisals.
