    Brute update

    Yeah yeah, I know. Anyways, I pulled the drivetrain to get the tranny done and to try and figure out why the oil pressure went to zero on me. I pulled the pan, the pickup tube was attached, pulled the pump, stuck in a pan of oil and spun it up. It moved oil just fine so the issue is the gauge...

    This is what I've been up to lately

    I just bought this and am sailing it home tomorrow. She a 1961 Knutson K35 yawl and she's 40' LOA and 10' in beam. She built of mahogany and teak and flat gorgeous.

    It's ALIVE!!!!

    After 10 long hours of wrenching, we got the Brute to fire. We only ran it a few minutes due to a minor coolant and fuel leak but it ran. No oil leaks, no tappng or rattles. It sounded SWEET uncapped and fairly vicious. I'm gonna take care of the hickies tomorrow and see if I can at least...

    Got the little DSM tuned...

    It picked up about 10 MPH in an 800 foot run (the distance from my driveway to Walker Valley Rd.) and is on par with a CAI/CB Cobra. My Snake used to hit 80 in that same distance before I pullied up and that's what the GSX hit. I managed to smoke the clutch testing it however. We're getting...
