  • I am still interested if you are willing to negotiate with the price but I really wanted to beef up my transmission. I have been shopping around and the quotes that I have been receiving are ranging from 1300-1600 but that is with upgrading internals. I can understand if that is the lowest price that you are willing to take though. Just let me know buddy!
I hear ya bud. Well, like I said in the ad, I only have like 6-7k miles on this transmission since it was rebuilt with a brand new 26-spline input shaft... I can sell the transmission with a stock T-56 shifter (no shift knob) for $1,500. But that's ONLY if I can get the other stuff sold as well. If you are still interested in this price, I'll start contacting the other guys about the MGW shifter and my McCleod RXT twin disc clutch. Let me know...

I had plans of rebuilding my transmission but who can you trust with transmissions? I only have my car pullied right now but I plan on going with a whipple setup soon. I have heard of Gear Heads before but it's always a chance that you have to take with the transmission builds. How much would you be willing to let the tranny go for?
I honestly can't tell you if the internals of the tranny were upgraded or not. When I was rebuilding my car, a customer of Gear Heads had a T-56 "rebuilt" then ended up going another route. I purchased that transmission from him and installed the 26-spline input shaft. I guess it depends on what setup you have and how much power you are going to be putting through it. I have about 650rwhp and I have had no problems with it.

Currently, I'd like to sell as a complete swap... but I've had people asking for the shifter alone and the clutch alone... so if I could sell the transmission alone, I'd be happy.

Let me know if you are still interested.
