this website is a confusing mess so why don't you enlighten me as to what the market rules are for posting a GT500 for sale at an effing SVT forum? and yeah I'm being rude because you or someone else did not say a damn thing to me you just deleted it without saying a word.
that's cool, I'm really looking forward to TT next year.
my first time ever on a track was in the 11 GT500 and afterward all the Miata people were complaining at the download and I'm like dude my first time ever cut me some slack geez! I didn't know a damn thing about miatas. lol. it's funny...
I've seen quite a few built s197s come up at trackmustangsonline for 15K but I haven't seen an S550 listed. I almost bought one last year but finally decided I'd rather have a Boss than an older s197.
there's a fellow in NASA NorCal with a blue 2016 GT and he runs that thing hard. he said it's...
Ah, when I make that list the 2015 wins but I have nostalgic fondness for the Boss. :) maybe I'll just put feelers out for both and see which one comes up.
I don't really mind being insulted but I'm curious as to why you're so defensive about this issue. the links you provided do not clarify whether a super snake is required or if any GT500 can be upgraded in CA. yes I read everything. also not explained is whether it's still valid since the law...
Back in 2011 when roush was selling off all of their old stock I bought up the complete conversion kit for a stage 3 and converted my 06 GT into it. it included everything in the RS3 spec, but the only thing I was missing was the big brakes. that was a fun car.
Was just talking with my kids about this. I'm going to enjoy life more even if it costs $ which I tend to not spend. Going to every track weekend (NASA NorCal) and doing the extra Laguna Seca plus dabbling in SoCal tracks. I want to buy a small RV and car trailer so I can camp at the track. I...
Hmm, not a racing forum, so I'm barking up the wrong tree, but if anyone comes across this post, I'll simplify the question...
What I'm looking for is advice regarding two specific cars for track use: 2012-13 Boss 302 (standard) *OR* 2015+ Mustang GT. Comparing apples to apples here, mileage...
The awesome thing about this post is that you copied the whole FB discussion knowing that most of us here aren't on FB or won't follow a link to it. LOL. Well, I'm assuming, I suppose. I personally don't touch that sh*t anymore. To me, FB is like the bathroom at a rest stop.
guys nothing in the past matters anymore with what you did in your tunes. as of July this summer you cannot do a damn thing in California with your engines with out a CARB EO.
That was actually a very strange thing for Ford to do if you think about it. Like it seems there was some crossover with development of the '13 maybe at the time? Maybe in order to get KB to work with them they had to promise a certain number of units sold for the 11-12's. IDK just speculating.
