at the time it was more like what was i thinking, but now it was probably the greatest decision i ever made. going ground, hoping for tank commander or infantry officer. i wont be going to TBS for a lil while yet, still got 3 semesters left in school.

Well congrats and best of luck at TBS and once you get to the fleet. The longer you do this business the better it gets.

How did you like CCT? I knew a guy from my careerfield that went into the pipeline but got washed at the very end. He is now in the Navy going thru BUDs.

It was a mother ****er, but when said and done... I really was a robot after the training. Nothing better than having your wings and beret.
I did 19 combat missions. on the last one, got ****ed up bad. I wanted to stay with it, got cross training, now trying to retire since they ****ed me.
Go figure. 1 purple heart, trying to get a bronze star. If Gen. North approves I'm golden.
