there are not many more anti-illegal alien them but you think America is going bankrupt over a couple hundred billion dollars spent on illegal aliens? have you seen our debt? do you know about the the Presidents stimulus package?
The problem with all of this? What's the solution to the problem? They throw our money at the problem so the problems don't overrun us. Otherwise things like crime would be at higher rates than they already are. We know all this money is being wasted. But whats the alternative? These facts are made to enrage the Tax Payers (as they have).
I'm just as pissed as everyone else about all these problems, but seriously what can we do? :shrug:

I understand this, but what are we supposed to do? Bomb the shit out of the place take what we want and not do anything to help the people that are there? We didn't do that with Berlin, we didn't do that with Japan and we shouldn't do it now.
Again, I agree with you. But what is the government going to do? Obama's stimulus package is a joke just like the ****ing bailouts. If a company runs itself into the ground they have no one to blame but themselves and shouldn't get money to reward failure.

Again there are FAR bigger problems then illegal immigration currently if you want to set your sights on that i think you are confused. I am very big against illegal immigration but for this topic to come up now is like trying to fix cracks instead of the holes in a a damn.

We were leveraged to the max, last thing we needed was a pro longed war, OR TWO, we shouldnt have stayed there in full force for such a long time. We also lost focus of the real threat, but once Bush is long gone you might realize this one.

Not really, what I did do is lower myself to his level of stupidity, which is just as bad now that I think about it.
I understand what he wanted to say and I also recognize that what he did say is different from what he meant or tried to convey in his post.
Anyway, we were always facing the issues mentioned in the OP, yet we were never facing these times. It is a deadly combination of horrible timing with housing market, credit market and many other factors, oil prices twisting our arm a little bit over the summer during the Olympic games didnt help either.
I am fairly convinced that China had a great deal to do with the gas prices over the summer. Their large "orders" in advance for the games threw the market and speculators in a frenzy that wasn't necessary really, but that's a whole different issue.
We are like that schmuck that appears to have it ALL made, but what nobody knew was that he *us* was leveraged to the max and any large expenditure will have him down on his knees faster than you can imagine.
Obscenity filter is there for a reason and the connotation I said it in wasn't meant to be insulting.
