Alright guys, we have decided to change the route. We put alot of thought into it and decided it was the best. The parks authorities say that the roads can be closed at any minute depending on any change of the fire sitaution and that there will be more of a police/park ranger presence due to the recent fires. For those of you still wanting to take the canyon route, you are welcomed to do so, go to the first post and print out the directions for yourself.

Here is the route for tomorrow:

Depart from Rose Bowl Parking Lot K onto Seco St, head east towards 210 Fwy
Make a right at Rosemont Ave. and another right on Orange Grove Ave.
We will take Orange Grove Southbound past the 134. It will take about 1.5 miles to reach the onramp to the 110 Fwy.
We will then take the 110 towards Downtown Los Angeles and merge onto the 5 Fwy North.
We will than take the 5 Fwy North to the 134 West towards Ventura
We will exit on Buena Vista and make a left at the light
This will put us on Riverside Dr. that we can take to the intersection of Riverside & Alameda, where Bob’s Big Boy is located.

This route gives us a bit more freeway time and should be fun. It shouldn't take us more than a half hour to 45 minutes though. We will be passing out directions if we get copies printed out tonight. See you all there and I apologize for the route change, but I see it as our best and safest option.

Your PM option is turned off. Get me your number and I''ll call you when we get close. Or just meet us at Chesebro Its only a few exits back and we are already meeting two there.
Apparently this site doesn't have a PM function. You can however click on my Sig. and send an Email.
I'd rather give you a phone then drive back to Chesebro, so email me.
Thanks

This new route by far pales in comparison with the old!
The new one is basically just a regular drive from the Bowl to Bobs.
While I hate to split into two groups, I personally was looking forward to cruisin Mulholland Dr. There haven't been any fires near there. The only fire that was close was Malibu, and that was miles away from Mulholland Highway, completely different part of the county.

See ya' in the morning Alex. I've made some copies of the first route so if we want we'll head that way. Last I heard all the roads were back open up here. Tom even said he was actually gonna make it so it's only right for him to go on a really cruise since he just got back from the sand box.

so what time is the agoura group leaving? ive got a few peeps rolling with me here in the 818. we can meet you off the 101, say at Winnetka offramp? there's a big Vons parking lot there. no need to stop and chat, you can just roll off and then we all roll back on.

does this sound good to everyone? 805ers? 818ers?

you guys can reach me on the TF line tomorrow morning to coordinate 818-357-2631. (itll forward to my cell phone).
