Yep, smaller is better. Run the numbers any way you wish. Kids are safer in private schools. Why do you think people of affluence that route.
3:4 is not that much of a difference. 3/7 = 43 percent probability vs 4/7 or 57 percent probabiliy comparatively.

Rich people send their kids to private schools because the education is better and it gets them into the ivy league colleges.

As mentioned I don't think you will find a much smaller town.

Fellas, fellas! I dont think this is a matter of big vs small, private vs public, town vs city…. This is a matter of luck of the draw and whether or not the school has taken steps to make itself a hard vs soft target…

Very damaging story if true... mother tells cops to go in and help kids or she will. Gets tackled and handcuffed, then released a couple minutes later. She then runs in herself and rescues her own kids.

Other reports of cops tackling and pepper spraying other parents for trying to get their kids while they still did nothing.

This is literally the stupidest thing to do in this situation. If it’s a black eye on LE, it is because they let her through.

Edit: These things are so fluid and LE does not know if there is only one shooter or multiple. Why distract them?!

The problem is that your average LE is not trained for this level of engagement. They aren't shooters and this situation was a textbook situation where SWAT was required. My stance is that all cops need to be trained in CQB tactics because of how often they run into situations where those tactics are absolutely needed. The hardest part of learning those skills is the teamwork communication and being able to move through a structure while covering your buddies back 100% of the time and I'm not exaggerating when I say that is how it is conducted. It takes a lot of time and money which is why your average patrol officer isn't trained in that, but I think they should because it opens a lot of doors for critical thinking skills that will help all LE across the board, and allow them to make precise split second decisions.

Ben Shapiro laid out the facts that have been established on his show tonight. He said all of the children killed were of the same classroom which is the room the shooter barricaded himself in. To me that implies that he got into a classroom and barricaded the door and started shooting everyone inside. Unfortunately, unless someone had been right behind him in pursuit I don't see how they could have stopped him there. It sounds like he engaged multiple people on the way to the class but it doesn't sound like anyone was in a position to stop him before he got to that classroom. One if his classmates that knew him said that the seniors had visited that elementary school earlier in the week or month wearing their gowns and were there to meet and show the kids that they would grow up to graduate too as a way to be an inspiration. They think that because he failed to meet graduation requirements that he possibly saw this event and targeted the school for that reason.

Other things he said was that he was bullied and made fun of for everything as a kid. His stutter, the way he dressed, anything he posted online, etc and he eventually turned into a huge asshole and would say weird things that drove all his friends away. He told one friend while playing basketball that he planned to join the Marines just so he could kill people and she ended the friendship after that. This guy fell through the cracks and there were lots of signs that should have been caught by LE and the community.

A lot of guesses and assumptions. First - you can guess when the kids might have been killed but it doesn't matter. The point is that the police have no idea what was going on or what would happen in the classroom for an hour. They chose to do nothing. The cops failed these kids and failed to do their jobs. It was reported that the town has a swat team. Where the fk they were, I have no idea and I guess we will have to wait on that. Second - I watched on the news as a classmate of the killer declared that the killer was not picked on but WANTED to BE a bully but failed.

You're right on a lot of the questions and I'm not trying to defend the police, just shedding light on what I know to be true in these scenarios. Every department has a SWAT division from my knowledge and in this department they were likely patrol officers that would have their gear on them to respond to any calls where they are needed, it wouldn't be a dedicated SWAT team. So that is a good questions. Why weren't they there and prepared? Having trained with some small town or city teams I can confidently say that their training and ability is not up to par with what you would expect. Still though, they should have been there within minutes and prepared to make entry because that is exactly what they are designed and there to do.

As for the facts, Shapiro was laying out what is known at this point. I was stating that the shooter was bullied at a young age and it even said he move to this town because of it, but as he got older he ended up becoming a bully himself and further isolated himself from everyone else. He also reported that the shooter and a friend would actually go drive around and shoot random people on the street at night with BB guns. It makes sense.

I'm actually surprised by their relative physical fitness. The Elizabeth City, VA SWAT we went up against had some fat SOBs on their team.

A group of liberals approached me at work trying to gotcha me on the shooting. When I suggested that their response was that hardening schools is too much work. Apparently protecting children is too much work for society

Mr. Paid opposition crafting the narrative he's fed you mean? He's stating the same state sanctioned BS that every major news corp is regurgitating.

I'll rely on video and statements from boots on the ground. Not agenda driven uni members.

This whole situation stinks to high heaven and these poor parents and their children.... Pawns used for some sick, evil agenda. This "slipped through the cracks" shit is just so overplayed. We can catch and destroy the lives of people who slander the alter of trans in an instant but we can't catch/stop these deranged ****s who openly tell you what they're going to do. Insane.

Your statement is not going over my head. The common denominator is public school shootings. That's settled. If one would place thier kid in private school, the odds of not getting shot increases. Remove the child from the common denominator. If the family doesn't want their home trashed by hurricane, don't live on the coast. If you are afraid of tornadoes, don't move to Kansas. If you don't want to get shot, don't move to Chitcago. The public school system sucks. No amount of numbers is going to change my mind.

So a retired Federal agent knew the shooters plan and did not contact active law enforcement? This is how conspiracy theories start.
It is because THEY DON'T KNOW YET. LoL

"The unnamed retired agent from an unnamed agency was reportedly among those invited to see Gendron’s plans, but it’s unclear if he accepted"
