Honest question. Why does one warrant capitalization and the other does not? (I know there's someone else on here who points this out, but this is the first time I've paid attention to it somewhere other than on this forum.)
I wouldn't consider myself butt-hurt by it; I don't really care at the end of the day. However, what's the popular explanation? All I can fathom is something along the lines of why BET is okay, but WET wouldn't be. Other than the fact that a channel called WET could be confused for something risque.

On this forum I try to capitalize White in all posts. Maybe I miss it here and there but I still make an effort. And I will write black in lowercase. Why do I do it? To rub it in the nose of the regressive leftists. **** them 10 times over sideways!
