I remember it being surge and mountain dew with that rumor. I was in middle school when we heard it could shrink your package and was like

Believe it or not, there are people who fell for this social media joke and do believe bits of human flesh are in the wafers. But there IS a somewhat gross ingredient call cochineal, a scale insect that is ground and used as a red food dye. It's also found in red Skittles and red M&Ms.
