Measured an OEM ATS pad. I got 2.385" as a thickness of the pad swept material in the center of the arch.

And here's Brembo's own internal spec doc that states that pad protrustion past the rotor be limited to 0.3mm max. That's not much

Here's where they sit with an OEM 13" rotor. These are the inserts i machined up myself, but i believe the are the same offset as lowranger's. They may not be, so don't judge his setup based on my pic. Hard to actually judge how far it protrudes as the angle may be a bit misleading, but it's not much.
This photo was with the first set of inserts I made which did not offset the caliper any. As you can see, quite a bit overhangs here
