How much is the quarantine making you drink?

Simple question... how has your alcohol intake changed in the last 6 weeks? I'd say I'm close to double. The only thing saving my waistline is that we've been cleaning up the woods ferociously, burning a lot of calories before the drinking commences.

I'm at about 2 cases of tall boy BL's and a bit of Jack Daniel's mixed in. I usually only have to pick up one case every Friday after work.

4 cases a week is pretty damn close. Way above normal. I also work a 50 hour a job week. It's nothing to kill a case of beer on a Saturday or Sunday, but, I'm also busting my ass redoing stuff at home. Big projects, if you seen some of my other posts recently.

Same here . Doubled up. But it’s a reward for being essential and still working 40 plus a week....no gym no basketball nothing else to do but take in the calories.....

Man you sumbitches drink a LOT of beer. I think i've maybe drank 20-25 beers TOTAL since the beginning of the year.

I usually enjoy a glass of bourbon a night or every other night.

I picked up a 12 pack of coors light and a 12 pack of Wachusett Strawberry a few weeks ago when all this started.

I’ve got 3 or 4 of each left.

Honestly, its nothing for me to put down 8-10 tall boys after an afternoon of cutting wood. Can't let a good fire go to waste. Between 3 of us, we have 15 acres to clean/maintain, so we're always burning something.

I mean, Bud Light is basically water anyhow.

I think in my life i've maybe had 6 beers at most in a sitting once or twice, and that was probably over the course of 2 or 3 hours. I don't like downing lots of liquids with minimal alcohol. If you want to get properly hammered, drink some good shit like scotch or bourbon.

Sticking with my normal of none. I do enjoy a good German beer, but even bottled isn't the same. We got an amazing, super authentic German restaurant about 30 miles out. If close, I could eat and drink there daily. Currently road beers are legal, and they've been having some happy hour specials on german pretzels and such, so I might make the cruise up there one day here soon.

“ I don’t drink, but I enjoy German beer, and I might go get a beer”

makes sense

I've never bought beer to drink alone at home. I enjoy a decent beer, aka not bud light. I'll have a beer or two when at a nice restaurant, such as the one I mentioned. I have unlimited free time and empty roads, so driving to said restaurant for dinner might happen. Otherwise I normally only make that drive when friends or family are in town.

I have to admit, I went from not drinking at all to drinking a lot. Probably averaging a 6 pack of high ABV beer a night or more than half of a box of cheap wine. I think warmer weather will give me a reason not to drink. If I have something fun to do, I'll probably do that instead. Boise isn't too locked down like some places, but there aren't a lot of options. I just got a Benjamin air rifle since shooting my guns and blowing through my stash might result in running out. I'm going to zero the bad boy in and start eliminating squirrels and other feral pests that are already getting into my habanero garden. Lol

Started building a house 2 1/2 years ago. Figured $1,000,000.... almost finished it’s around $2,500,000... towards when we moved in (still not finished) I was living off 6 Guinness per day and a few glasses of Weisers rye nightly. It was the only thing that would stop the chest pain.
at the same time we got pregnant, my dads dying from dementia (part of the reason we built a big house with 2 separate living areas), business took a shit with a customer owing $250,000 +\- for two years now and not even making payments... then Corona a virus!
Some how now I’m feeling calm. Hmmmm, I think I may have lost my mind. Lol

Nick. I'm a firm believer that alcohol ruins a man's personality. So, do like me and don't drink at all.
