I just bought a 2003 cobra a few days ago and I was actually able to find the original owner of the car and speak with him. He told me the car had a bassani catted x pipe on the car when he sold it. The car then came to a dealership here in California and was then sold to the owner before me. My understanding is that the bassani catted x pipe has only one set of high flow cats but my car has what appears to be high flow cats PLUS another set of cats before it. If I had to guess, I would say the dealership that bought it couldn’t smog the car with high flow cats, so they added in a second set in order to get the car to pass smog. I’ve included a picture of the bassani x pipe and a picture of what’s on my car. Hopefully you guys can help me determine what’s on my car.
Thanks!

Yeah I thought so. The cat towards the front definitely isn’t supposed to be there. The car was originally tuned with the high flow bassani cats so I’m sure it wouldn’t get a CEL if I take off the front ones but for some reason I’m still hesitant lol
