This season is turning into an interesting one. Sure Michigan got shellacked by the Irish in week one, but they are turning around and may have a chance at being a contender in the playoffs. I am getting real sick of loosing to the southern team and would love to slap the shit out of my buddy come that cold dreary day in November.

Ain't happening...I was thinking maybe next year will be the year they finally beat us. We will be reloading, especially if Haskins goes to the NFL, and the game is in AA. This year, game is in Cbus and the Bucks always rise up for The Game.

All I can think of is Lsu. Maybe Mississippi st but maybe no. My same argument about ucf applies here. It's easy to finish undefeated when you have an easy schedule and one challenge in the end. I think Lsu has one of the toughest schedules in the nation which is why they lost. I'll give bama credit for their A&M win though

LSU has beaten Miami, @Auburn, and Georgia...all three of those wins are better than anything Bama has done so far. Although after Saturday, the Miami and Auburn wins look a bit less impressive, but still good wins! I'm interested to see if Georgia just folds (they have a rough schedule over the next month) or if they come out swinging.

Wisconsin definitely isn't as good as they've been in recent years but they got pushed around pretty bad. I'll take it.

4 top 10 teams going down and nearly 2 more did. I like the parity.
I can't believe UGA played as poorly as they did against LSU. They gave the game away.

That was me during the late 80's through the 1990's. John Cooper was 2-10-1 vs. Michigan. Since then, Tressel went 9-1, Fickell 0-1, and Urban 6-0 for a grand total of 15-2. Life is beautiful!

Would love to see LSU stomp Bama.

Me too. Let's not forget that LSU's QB is a transfer from Ohio State. Joe B. can play. He isn't as talented as Haskins, but he is gritty and gutty; tough kid.

I was happy to see Penn State and Wisconsin lose this weekend :D

I used to work at UW. They had such a Napoleon complex when it came to Ohio State...Drove me nuts. The first time we played them after I started working there was the 59-0 shit kicking the Bucks delivered on them in the B1G CG on their way to the natty. Needless to say, I gloated a little after that. LOL

We didn't get shellacked we only lost by 7 lol.

I think these guys can play at the Shoe. After all, we really did win there 2 years ago...

I think UGA folds. I too am waiting for someone to take Bama down a peg!

I went to the Texas game this past Saturday. Butthole was puckered in that one. Glad to hear Ehlinger only had a grade 1 AC sprain. Hope he's good to go against Ok st. next week because Buechele looked like hot garbage.

Yea, I get the feeling UGA is will drop another game or two in the regular season.

Thoughts on the game vs. Sparty this weekend?

No more magic luck hex whatever bullshittery for Sparty this year. They're going down.

Nah. It won't be game 1 on the road it'll be game 8 at the Big House. Zero chance for the Irish next year. In fact, if we played again right now I'm confident we'd win.

That sucks. We've been without Gary the last 2 games and he didn't play much the 2 before that. Status unknown for Sparty.

Now maybe. While I don’t think they’re NC contenders they have improved a lot since last year and this year. Pitt always plays them tough. That said if they can win out don’t see how they can’t be in the playoff. I just hope they keep getting good commitments we will see next year.

How long before someone high up gets pissed if Harbaugh can’t beat OSU?

The fan and competitor in me hates it. The realistic, business minded side of me understands completely. He will be doing what he needs to do to be ready for the NFL.
It's easy for us to criticize kids for leaving college, but how many of us have 10-20 million on the line?
Couldn't have been an easy choice for him, but I do wish him the best.

If they win out absolutely they'll be in the playoff. That's a no-brainer. As far as Harbaugh goes, he has a long leash.
