If I was a black guy and was well educated in farming, I would probably head down there and start consulting the farmers on crop production. They won't have money but they do have land, that would be a good form of payment.

Or the current land owners get executed, all the land comes under government control and a small percentage of it is used to grow food for the elite. The rest of the land will get no use and the average person will still not have enough to eat.

China has traded "infrastructure" for natural resources to many of these African countries for years...The buildings and roads built by the Chinese in many of these countries are already crumbling, soccer stadiums collapsing, refineries exploding etc.... Article I read, this will be reviewed in August to confirm it's constitutional. I'm curious how officials foresee how this plays out. I imagine the farmers aren't just going to hand over the keys and wave bye. Would expect at a minimum to sell everything they can, seeing as they will get nothing, then burn/salt the land so it can't be used for production.

Take any major United States city and compare the black neighborhoods with those of other specifics such as whites. I bet you notice a big difference. If S.A. is indeed doing what the O.P. offered for discussion and thought, it'll be similar to what I eluded to above.

I'm trying my best to grasp why skin color has anything at all to do with land ownership. 72% of land is estimated to be owned by white people in S. Africa. In 2018 my mind should not skip over the fact that land is being stolen from legal owners of said land. However, the first thing I notice is a modern day race war being waged.

Why no one speaking up to defend the rights of those being oppressed? The answer is; they do not want to be called a rascist. It appears in this particular case that it is indeed a racial issue. White people are literally called out.

For some reason the movie "Lethal Weapon" is now replaying over and over in my mind.
