I'm 44, my daughter is 22 and I have a grandson that is 2 and a son in law in the Navy. I am very happy because I don't think I could do another at my age.

I had one at 44 then the last of 5 kids at 48. I have never been happier in my life. Family time is a great time with a good wife and kids!

My aunt and uncle had their two kids in their mid 40's. Both kids have developmental issues.

the other night she went ape shit on me for no reason.....now I know why LMAO

Lol. My wife was actually pretty good for the most part during pregnancy. She didn't crave anything weird or have huge mood swings. She was suffered from a serious morning sickness for over half her pregnancy though.

I know many people who weren't so lucky.

Congrats!

My wife has been pretty good so far. Only 1-2 irrational emotionally charged arguments so far, lol. She's at 19 weeks now.

The risk does increase, the older a couple is. I'm blessed for sure. I will say that having kids when you are older and more mature, makes things go a lot easier. Had my first one at 20 and that was hard.

Especially for women. Ages 35-40 risks start to skyrocket, both for mom and for baby during and after pregnancy.

Haha. My marriage almost didn't make it through my wife's pregnancy. She was a hormonal nightmare that was made worse because she couldn't take some of her meds while pregnant. We agreed it best not to go through that again.

I'll be dammed if having kids isn't the greatest thing on Earth though. I didn't understand it until after he was born but someone said it's like your heart is crawling around outside your body. They're right.

Congratulations, I’ve got three, nothing else matters now. Be supporting of everything he does as he grows up, if he’s in a band go watch it don’t say I have to work. Family first

Same here. Holding down water and bread was a challenge for my wife.
First month she was fine, then it quickly went down hill.

Dang that's old. I can't imagine having a newborn at that age.
Why not? I was 39.

FYI, if she has really bad morning sickness message me. My wife is a pharmacist and has a concoction she made from over the counter meds that helped. Everyone she's given it to swears by it.
