Can anyone tell me if a 20x10 front wheel with a +38 offset will work on my 08 GT500
Thx
Thx
Those specs only apply to the performance pack wheels. The standard GT500 wheels were +45 mm offset front and rear 07-14 for the 18" and 19" wheel diameters.Stock '13-14
19x9.5 +44
20x9.5 +50

Actually, more positive offset pushes the wheel/tire combination further inboard which could cause interference with spring pad on the strut. Less offset pushes the wheel/tire combination outward and if shallow enough could push the combo outside the fender wellIf you go with more + offset, the wheel will stick out further.
This is a 285/40-19 on the front my '12 with the OEM SVT PP wheel, +44mm offset.

'13-14 wheels are all the same specs, same offset, only difference in design and finish. Those specs only apply to the performance pack wheels. The standard GT500 wheels were +45 mm offset front and rear 07-14 for the 18" and 19" wheel diameters.
Tire specs at 28" diameter. I don't think you could put anything taller on the front. You might could get away with a 305 width in a shorter diameter, but offset would be pretty critical for fitment. I'm not sure what that might be.^^^That fills out nicely, I have always liked the SVTPP wheels. How wide is the rim, 9.5"?
It is amazing that a 285 (rear tire size) can be so nicely fitted to the front of these heavy nosed GT500's, it helps the front grip when pressed in a turn for sure.

Tire will be a 275/35/20the OP question as to if +38 offset 20X10 will fit on the front of a 2008 GT500, the answer is yes depending upon tire

I was running a 315/35-20 in the rear on widened SVTPP wheels. I've since mounted 325/30-20s, and the 285 are a little taller. I've also since acquired a set of True Forged wheels in 20", so I will mount the 275/35-20 that came mounted on them. It's a closer fit to the new rear rubber in terms of outer diameter. A 285/35-20 specs at a taller diameter, but has the same rev per mile data, so the loaded radius works out to be the same. I'll probably end up there at some point. How do you like the 285 up front? What are the rears? I've been considering moving to a 285 on the front as well.
