I absolutely love that paint/stripe combo. Stunning! Love the car, too!

Like I said before nothing like a trinity Shelby.

I will certainly be coming back to a trinity Shelby at some point. I had to give up my 2014 reluctantly because of the personal situation I was in. I miss that Shelby so much. It was perfect. I need to build a house first in the next year or so and then I can get back in the market for another GT500. There are many low mileage 13/14 Shelby's out there on the market right now and some real good deals. I am anxious to get back in the seat.

As far as glass roof goes to me I hated the way it looked on the outside.
Defiantly, the 13/14s are monsters, especially on the highway.
I used to not like the glass roof than I drove my buddy's 14 GT500 and loved it. I know it's not for everyone but I think its awesome to have.

I'll start working on that as soon as I start caring...

Get comfy, you'll wait...
Yeah that's what I thought. Maybe you wont say stupid shit next time you can't back up. Go back to trolling the cafe section.

Cars definitely pull hard. I havent gone up against a hellcat or new Camaro yet but it should be fun and interesting.

You came up with the clever response all on your own or did your daddy have to help you?

Dont worry about the answer to that, rhetorical.

I only raced one hellcat with my 2013, but that was with my 3.6 KB on. Needless to say I walked him like he was standing still lol. I know the auto hellcats are a little faster than a stock 13/14 Shelby. But with a few bolt ons and a tune they're no issue.

Good to have you back on board the shelby train. As for supersnake. Well I'm kinda bias so go for it.
It's defiantly not cheap to do the conversion, But I think it's worth it. Once I have possession of the car I'm going to contact them.

View attachment 85352 Hold out for Sterling Gray with glass roof and blue stripes. J's car is my favorite.
Ron I'll be driving her a lot this year, hopefully you make it to a local NMRA race :)
I'll toss you the keys at the Beaver or Summit shows, but after I give you a ride you might not want to drive.

Steve,
Glad you're coming back my friend, although I'll eventually get another Terminator, the Trinity is another level.

Definitely get the glass roof, I ordered my car and it was no mistake it was ordered with the glass roof and recaros! 2 must have options and glass roof is number one.

To clarify some points here:
1) glass roof adds 10-11lbs over aluminum roof skin but actually stiffens the chassis
2) stock stripes are more expensive as the are PAINTED vinyl. My stock blue stripes are called Sonic Blue and that's because they are painted so can't be duplicated in aftermarket.
3) my Charger Hellcat is a monster from
a roll. I can't say enough about the A8 and can't imagine how fun it'd be with my built 5.8. Still, I'll take my car over any Hellcat. Hell I just put winter rubber and took salty pics of my heater just to piss off the Hellcat boys :)

That said here's my advice:
Silver glass roof car with blue SS stripes and CF accents.
I'd do the classy power mods like mine vs the SS conversion, but even I have considered the rear only SS wide body.
Good luck bro call anytime.

Are you going back to a KB setup or keeping the TVS on this time?

J - to be fair I will have to let you drive the '66 in return. I upgraded the motor and trans 2 years ago and now I am upgrading the suspension and brakes with goodies from Street Or Track. It won't quite run with your toys but it is one of the strongest and will soon be one of the best handling early Mustangs out there. I rode in a M6 Hellcat a few weeks ago and damn that is a beast - congrats on yours! Keep in touch buddy.

I'm happy to be coming back to the Shelby world. Silver wasn't my first choice but I do like that color. I'm definitely going to do the sonic blue stripes unless I do the SuperSnakes conversion. The hellcats are cool, just not my cup of tea.

I'll be staying with the TVS, possibly the Gen2R in the future. The only way I'll do the KB again is if I do a SuperSnake package.

Awesome either way - just my opinion, sonic blue stripes would be perfect on that color.

Good to see you coming back. I have seriously contemplated selling mine for a Terminator, but seeing you do this might help me keep the Shelby around a little longer. I will always have a soft spot for an 03 SB coupe.

Only regret I have with my 13 is not holding out for one with a glass roof. This car isn't exactly on a diet, whats another 11lbs?

I have been contemplating selling my '14 for a while now. I just can't make up my mind. On one hand I'd like to have cash saved up for the new GT500 and on the other hand, I have this nagging feeling that I'll regret selling it. Stock (w/Nitto 555Rs) with 1,156 miles.
