Not to beat a dead horse but when someone explains WHY companies do what you are complaining about and you accuse them of lacking reading comprehension, you took it personal.I took nothing personally. I simply stated facts. Have a nice day!

LOL! He was telling me to backup my data. That was never what I posted about. So I clarified what I was talking about. That's not taking anything personally. I think I'd know if I took it personally. Moving on...Not to beat a dead horse but when someone explains WHY companies do what you are complaining about and you accuse them of lacking reading comprehension, you took it personal.
Not to bring back a semi-dead thread but you can find the corporate discount codes for Lenovo on ThinkPad reddit forums......lots of college kids use the discount and they can save you 3-400 dollars on ThinkPads.....the links to the corporate discount store are attached to the reddit thread.
Lenovo's are cheap crap, owned by the chinese and not worth the money. the only computers we ever has really serious issues with out of the box when I was in the sandbox. would never own nor recommend one to an enemy let alone someone I cared what they thought.
I disagree, aside from the part about them being made in China (obviously). Lenovo makes pretty good products, especially their higher-end consumer and business models. I've had a couple in the past and have the 2nd gen Yoga now. Each has lasted 5+ years without any issues.
That being said, I also used a lot of Dell and Asus models at work and have not had issues with them, either. I just like Lenovo's models a bit more for the price.

Congrats on owning a piece of crap that works lol. To add to my earlier statement, the COMMUNIST Chinese own them, the Chinese are prolific hackers and owning an already established name in the computer industry simply gave them opportunities the would have otherwise. They have been caught once putting nefarious crap in their products. It's what they haven't been caught doing that bothers me. Won't ever own one nor recommend them to anyone.
you are, however, free to enjoy yours
LOL at you taking what I said as "permission". you got self esteem issues?I'm not arguing the point of the Chinese owning them, or the fact that the Chinese government is dubious. I'm just pointing out that the computer/tech world does not agree with you sentiment about Lenovo products. And thank you for your permission; had you not given it, I may have considered selling.
Lenovo makes decent laptops. Throwing a tantrum over their origins doesn't change that.
You're acting like an ass in a situation that doesn't call for it. Grow up and let it go.Tantrum? you even know the meaning of the word?

Stay classy man.Haven't had this much fun in awhile now. you accuse me of having a "tantrum" and now you say I am acting like an ass. perhaps a look in the mirror would be appropriate for you.
