How To: Find the Difference between Two Pigtail Connectors??

Hi All!

(Hopefully a Ford expert can chime in)

So this is my debacle: I need a FRONT Wheel Speed Sensor Connector Pigtail FOR A 2011 Mustang and I was able to find 2 possible part numbers online:

#1: Ford part # 3U2Z-14S411-BXAB

#2: Ford Part # 5U2Z-14S411-ZB

ROCKAUTO.com tells me part #2 will work and The Ford Dealer (multiple) tell me that part #1 will work. The issue here is The Dealers are unable to tell me if part #2 will also work for the application for which I need it. The dealer does not know what part #2 is used for..

Part #2 is half the price at the dealer (even cheaper than that online) and I need to know if I can also splice in part #2 as the Wheel Speed Sensor Connector.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

The Ford online wiring diagram will show the proper connector when highlighted. Thats the best way to get the proper hardshell connector and that may cross to a Motorcraft number. I have done this many times as I'm a Ford tech. This was a problem years back but now it's easy with the online EVTM. I hope this helps.

The BXAB number is the one I'm getting, hold on I can get pictures of the two.

The L is the Wheel Speed Sensor - 3U2Z*14S411*BXAB



The C is the pigtail for the Horn - 5U2Z*14S411*ZB





They appear to use a similar pigtail. But I would use the correct one for your specific application, the BXAB.
