For Sale: Polished Kenne Bell 2.2
Hello,
I have a Gen 1 Kenne Bell 2.2 for sale.
I originally purchased this blower in November of 2010 from a semi-local guy. His for sale ad was on svtperformance.com, here:
http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?734018-Kb-2-2-for-sale
Since owning the blower, I have put 3-4000 mile on it. The majority of the time it has been pullied with a 3.0” / 2lb combo, and occasionally pullied with a 2.75” / lb combo. I am the third owner and the previous owner stated within this for sale ad that the blower had less than 15,000 miles on it.
The blower was filled with fresh Kenne Bell oil when installed in 2010 and has been changed once again since then within the 3-4000 miles of use.
On my car, it made 575rwhp at 17psi, and made 621rwhp at 20psi on 110.
The catch can is some-what of a unique square design and I believe this was offered by Horsepower by Herman long ago. There is really no benefit of this, and to be honest I had planned to eventually swap the snout to a gen 2 design.
Due to a recent head gasket failure, I am in process of building the engine in the car and am looking at going to a larger blower. I’ll eventually be running a built engine on e85 and will likely look for a 2.9 or 3.4 Whipple. This 2.2 has performed amazingly and has done it’s part flawlessly. As with all KB2.2’s, this blower has sounds amazing and the whine is extremely loud!
I’m asking $2500 for the blower, a Kenne Bell SBTB a 3.0 and 2.75” pulley along with the KB pulley removal tool. Price is firm for now, but would separate blower, pulleys, etc. Will come with a fresh shine to go with the whine!
Key Points:
• Gen 1 polished KB 2.2
• Price: $2500 w/ KB SBTB, 2.75” and 3.0” pulley along with removal tool.
• Mileage: believed to be 18-19,000 based upon previous for sale ad combined with total mileage since my ownership.
• Located in Columbia, KY (42728)
• Will accept payment via paypal +fees or cash in person.
• Will ship with buyer paying shipping expense.
• Would trade + cash to a Whipple 2.9, 3.4 or Kenne Bell 2.8.
***Blower will be sold "dry" with no oil - Buyer will have to buy / add oil to blower.
