Anybody know what some of the tuning shortcomings are with a Roush Phase 2 kit ? I'm still using the Phase 1 air box, but with the canned Roush Phase 2 tune, haven't installed the open air Roush Phase 2 intake yet.
This is on a 2014 M6 car.

It seems like there is some hesitation or jerkiness when going to part/half throttle ? Is this the torque management function that can be adjusted or tuned for ? I know -0- about tuning so I could be way off here....

The tune is for all the upgrades that come with the phase 2 kit, the maf size are different from stock to open air. You need not to rag on it until you have replaced all the proper parts, and re flash with new tune.

Best thing is just getting a good dyno tune, then you can do whatever phase you want and not have to worry.

Roush tvs with 79mm pulley, roush CAI and vmp tune.
Made more than even phase 3 at Dyno. 618rwhp! Even my grandma can drive my car. Driveability with vmp tune is amazing.

I had the stage 2 tune for a while and it was definitively better and more responding than the stage 1.
At this point you're loosing your warranty anyway so you would be better or with a tune from a tuner that is optimized for your car.

Much more control over what you like or not.

I too had the Phase 2 tune on my last car.....had some hesitation and a stutter at mid RPMs. Changed to a Dyno tune and WOW what a difference!

Oh by the way....Invest in some good tires! If you have 3.73s: FORGET IT!:D
