You should contact each of the tuners and decide for yourself. It's tour money so no one can tell you how to spend it better than you. Good luck!

I have heard very good things about both tuners, I don't think you could go wrong either way.......

I just got a tune from Mike. Awesome to deal with and very quick to respond to emails for tune revisions.
Also hear nothing but good about AED. Can't go wrong with either.

Mike has a A6 as his test bed.
I had an M6.

His strength is the A6, mine is the M6.

I currently have Shaun's tune on mine...... normal driving, the shift points are just like stock.....at the track, it hits every gear every time in the 7500-7550 range.....

I have a 2014 A6 and AED will get my money (when the time comes) for a tune. I only live an hour or so away, so that makes it an easy choice even if it is "just" an email tune.

Although, if AED didn't exist, I would get a Mike Rousch tune simply based off what I have read about his work.

Both guys are excellent. I went with AED and the car shifts awesome!! Car went from 12.63 bone stock to 12.16 with AED tune, drag radials and dynotech driveshaft. Shaun's customer service is top notch!

Mike did my Auto.. he made the car drive exactly how I wanted it. Quick to reply and the car runs strong and shifts great. Both Mike and Shaun are great guys. I chose Mike because of his A6 experience. He is my tuner for life now!!!

I have no experience with Shaun/AED, but his reputation speaks for itself.

I've traded a few PM's with Mike Rousch before even making a purchase, he answered my questions and was very helpful. I plan to contact Mike when I'm ready to have my A6 car tuned. Can't wait!

I had my 2014 A6 tuned by Mike yesterday. He installed a 4C , aluminum driveshaft, O R/H pipe, full BMR suspension, and welded axle tubes.. Car really came alive.. He really has customers best interest at heart . He did exactly as promised, in the time estimated , including the shop losing power for over a hour.. I would recommend Mike to anyone..

Man I really wish I could stop by his shop in person, too bad I'm on the opposite side of the country.

Those are about the same mods I plan for my car, but I'm on the fence about the 4c because my car is 100% DD. How's the daily driveability with the 4c and Mikes tune?

So far, it drives fine. Driving home, car got 27mpg. When you hit it with 4c, really comes alive.. More then happy with it..

I was wondering about Mike Rousch but glad to know he kicks butt on tuning! He's only 3hrs from me so he's within driving distance.

Now. Can somebody explain what exactly a converter is and does? Drivability and MPG gain or loss for DD use? I know it keeps you in your power band but I know that's not all it does and I didn't want to make a new thread about it. This is my 3rd auto stang and I love it!
