Thanks for replyin.. What did you use for sanding? Also, what was the brand of paint used? Planning on doing this within the next few weeks.
Makes me think though that it's not so bad if they only have a few chips in them and they're an eggshell finish. I was thinking of going gloss, or semi gloss in hopes to protect against that. Which is why I wanted to double-check the brand used, hahaha.. Hopin it's a home depot rattle can type deal, which is what it looked like.
I've heard to not use spacers in the past, but haven't really ran into anyone that had a bad experience with them. Thought they wore out the wheel bearings faster...
Just saw the new pics btw. New seats look awesome! Still payin on mine (got it for $15k w/50k on the odo).. Not much right now in terms of upgrade money.. Cant wait till it's paid off!

No worries. I used a red scotchbrite. You can get them at pretty much any auto parts store. The paint is "trim paint". You can get that at the autoparts store too. It's in a green can. I'll see if i can get you a picture when i get home. Not sure i have any but i will look.
I've run spacers on both of my cobras with no issues. Just make sure you have enough threads engaged or get extended lugs with open ended lug nuts for the rear. The ones i have bolt on using the original lugs. The spacers themselves have another set of lugs on them that the wheel bolts on

Right?! Came on here to see if there were any updates... And there were, just didn't expect that! Almost spit my shake out! What made you make the move if you don't mind me askin? I figured you just added the FRS to the group, but then I saw "sold" next to the 04.. Sad day indeed.
I also have a feeling we'll see you again in the near future with another Cobra to replace the FRS, hahahaha... If you came back from an M3, sure as shit you'll want to come back after the FRS! :lol1:
