Can anyone tell me how long they waited between order date and reciept of a VIN and build/ship dates? I'm at 56 days and SVT today (06/25) tells me still "in process, unscheduled". This is my second order, placed 05/08; first order placed early April but dealer called after about a month and said facory could not build unless I added the $3K Track Pack. Thanks.

Sorry I'm a little confused. They couldn't build it unless you ordered the Track Pack? That's a bunch of crap. Since when does the factory require you to buy an option? Did you call Ford Customer Service on that?

Didn't call Customer Service, just took my business to another dealer. The first dealer said my order was the last of his 4-car allocation and that he didn't want wait on any factory delays to book the deal. Maybe he had another buyer?

Yea he was definitely pulling your chain. It's too bad you have to wait but you were smart to to go to another dealer. I would have reported him to Customer Service anyway. Good luck on your order.
There is no normal wait time, I've heard of waits for a vin anywhere from a week to 4 months +. So it's roll of the dice I think.
I ordered mine on 4/2 and do not have a vin # yet. This sucks, I traded a Shelby and
now I am stuck with no vehicle to play with.

Same here except I sold mine in 18 hours. I didn't expect it to sell so fast.

Just got my build date of 7/16. Not bad, ordered 6/14 got VIN 6/22 so im hoping for an early August surprise or a late B-Day present. I'll be 43 7/26 Ohhhh boy!!!
I was the first car ordered from my dealer and that was on 3-27-12.
I was told the car was in process last week when I called SVT. I have a priority 10.
The GM at my dealership said the orders are filled on some sort of lottery system. He stated that there are a number of factors that go into the vehicles being build and delivered.
This waiting is killing me. I hope it arrives before I have to get the snowblower out.
Your car might have the same birth date and mine. My order is scheduled for the week of 7/16 also. Let's see which comes off the assembly line first.
