You'll have to wait until next week guys. The paint on the Saleen kit we painted splintered in some areas and they have been fixing that in our paint shop.
It drives really nice, car is smooth into boost with the big turbo's until around 4500rpm and then you need to be paying attention to what is going on.;)

I'll post up all the sheets for Austin after we spin it up for the final tune next week. I am going to Georgia next weekend and bringing it south with me for him to pick up.

Damn, everything on your car has failed. Seems like a pattern with it since it's been gone.

Slap an AMS1000 in that thing and be done with it. Doesn't look like you've cheaped out on anything else, so why do it with a bc?

motor blew up.......

J/K, but how about updating us common folk once in a while?
It sure appears they probably did have some kind of serious issue as it was supposed to be dyno'd a couple weeks ago. That sucks big time if that's the case after all the other issues and time involved.

I was going to go with custom cams, but IMO everyones just playing guessing games with turbo4v cams.. no one has really done any extensive r&d, so I went with GT cams. I have 96-98 and 03-04 cams, but proline and mph advised me to go with the GT cams.

After reading this we had to post... there was no guessing with our MMR turbo cams, we have been selling them for over 4 years, have done more Dyno R&D than any other company, they have been used on John Kolivas record Holding Drag radial car, they have been used on Jason Wilkersons worlds fastest 5.4 DOHC Lighning, they have been used on the worlds fastest S197 owned by Dana Cook and lastly they are on MMR's own racecar which holds the record for the fastest Modular Powered "real" Mustang!

Ford GT cams are just fine, but they are still STOCK cams designed to meet emissions, we would love for you to try a set, if you made less than 100 RWHP over your stock Ford GT cams we will give them to you for free- this is how confident we are!

Good luck with your project!

Do you guys have any back to back comparison testing of stock cams compared to your aftermarket cams? People have been asking for these comparisons for years, and nobody is ever able to produce them.

We can do one better since comparing stock cams to MMR turbo cams is like comparing apples and oranges, a great test would be a customer who tried stock, then Comp supercharger cams and then MMR turbo cams, the baseline peak was 697 with the stock cams at 23psi, it then made 768 with comp cams stage 3 SC cams and made 801 with MMR stage 3 Turbo cams, we will dig up the dyno sheets if we get a moment.

There is simply no comparison!

Another example would be if we put a set of stock cams into our racecar we would guess it would loose 250-280HP(it makes over 2200HP) For kicks we punched in the #'s into a desktop dyno program and it said we would loose 311HP and we have found them to be very accurate when the correct information is inputed.

Our cams are not for the weak of heart, they are for the person that wants the very best and does not want to cut corners to get there. Driveability is nice on all of them (which is a byeproduct of a true Turbo cam and its overlap), they all (stage 1-3R ) require upgraded valve springs and some applications will require notched Pistons.

If anyone would like any more information please call as we are not always on the forums to answer questions.

Oh, and to the original poster, we wish you the best of luck with this build, it looks great! We hope that it did not "Blow up" as others have hinted, we are sure you have a bunch of time into this car and that would be a real shame!

ummm....usually in a situation like this, no news is usually not good news. There was a similar build on here a year or so ago. Not going to say who the owner was, who the shop was or anything like that, but the car should've been a real monster when finished. But it dragged on and on and before it was over with, the bank repo'd the car and sold it.

I'm sure that's not the case here, but it sure seems like there is some issue with the car. Really hate to think like that, cause I know how much money is in a build like this and I know how the OP has been anxiously waiting on it to be finished. I wish you guys all the luck!

Sorry guys, been really busy lately with the new position and life in general. Last week Tim had to get a few cars ready for SEMA, the car is scheduled to dyno again today with c16 and ship out sometime this week.
Hopefully it happens this time..
