teflon tape. If that is one of the AN fittings leaking, you don't use teflon on those.

it is leaking from the fuel solenoid right before it enters it, the guy i purchased the kit from put a fuel filter before the solenoid and its dripping slowly from that....

I mentioned teflon..I forgot which one it works on or which one it doesn't.

But either you have teflon tape on AN fittings [which don't need it since they are self sealant..and teflon could cause a leak]

or you don't have teflon tape on a NPT fitting [which use teflon tape since they DON'T self seal]

Well I got the line coming from the sump disconnected and out of the way. The filter is off as well. Waiting on a friend to come over so I can separate the filter to get to the actual filter lol. When I pulled the filter off, a lot of sediment came out so hopefully that's all of my problems. We'll see after I start it up.

Just an idea...but I would have the tank drained and have new fuel put in.

Just hope there isn't crap that got past your filter.

I've been itching to hit up a car meet since I moved here last month. I look over on Orlando Forums a lot but all their meets are import ones. It's a bit out of the way for me but I wanna put some faces to some svtp names. :p

edit: I'll be sure to bring my camera out

My tank is a stock sumped tank so there will always be a small amount of sediment that goes through the filters since the fuel pump picks up whatever is in the bottom of the tank.

Anyways, my pump is fried. I called aeromotive after they closed and left a message. Hopefully they call tomorrow with what I can do. Jay at realstreet said that they will rebuild the pump since it's an eliminator and if he remembers right, it'll only be like $50 plus whatever shipping is.

So now I'm out of a car for a few weeks. My girl brought me home so I could grab my bike. I really didn't want to bring it down yet, but I really have no choice in the matter as of now. Our schedules don't line up everyday so she can't just drive me around as I need.

Sooooo I'll still be at the meet but on a motorcycle lol. Glad I set up a mustang meet and I won't even show up in one lol.

Ok iPhone is being too slow and stupid to edit so I'm just replying again.

When I was on the phon with jay, he said that the amount of sediment that came out of the filter was normal and the filter was doing it's job. The outlet of the fuel pump was nearly dry. I took the fuel pump completely apart and found no foriegn objects that raised an eybrow or anything.

Jay said that it's prolly just a pump failure. This is a race pump though not really designs for everyday duty so I guess it happens. I do have a fuel pump controller and fuel cooler installed, but I have been dd'ing the car for the past 4 years or so lol.
