Hey MACA,

Just wanted to make a post about what I have been working on. As some or maybe most of you know I sold the cobra in January to a 17 year old kid from VA (I regret somewhat but oh well). Then the first of Feburary I got rear-ended by an 85 year old man while I was stopped, he was traveling ~55 MPH. A day and half later I get out of shock trauma in Baltimore and realize my fleet of cars to drive is dwindling!

So while I had 5 weeks off of work for a severe concusion I shopped around and found this:

And just about a month ago (first of Sept.) it saw the light of day outside the garage:

The car is currently up at my buddies house where I am trying to finish the chassis work and doing some undercarriage painting.

I hope to be out next spring with it. And I would like it to look something like this:

Oh and I did buy another daily driver as well after the accident ... I know I know. Its not a Ford, but its fun!

Thats all for now!

Yeah that is the other thing I have been up to as well. Getting married on the 27th of October! So taking time off right next to the wedding is a no go.

Ben,

I think my Bacholer party is going to be at Maple Grove a little earlier in October ;)

Jon,
We need to have some car building parties this winter!!! Because it will be spring before you know it!

Ken,
Powerplant, sure sitting in the crate, brand new from Ford! M-6007-M50S, for the new NMRA C/S class.
I am leaning towards buying a new Racepak from Joe at Hyperaktive. Are you running the sportsman and the UDX display? That is how I am leaning, but I am having a tough time swallowing that pill, I mean bill!!
Thanks on the congrats, she is an awesome girl!

Carlos,

Car is actually an 85. The owner swapped everything over from a 93. I am in the process of rounding up all of the 85-86 exterior stuff. Which is proving rather difficult. The interior will stay 87-93!

Dropping mine off next weekend to get the cam, gears, anti-roll bar and window net installed. I'm trying hard to get it track ready by the middle of October so I can do some testing before it gets too cold.

You putting a C4 in the coupe?

Congrats on the coupe. Had no idea you'd been in an accident, I guess I wasn't logging in enough to SVTP. Glad all is well.

Rod, thanks man, I really hadnt posted anything about the accident.

Jon,
No weight breaks, all cars are 3200. So I am in the process of tracking down 400-500 pounds of lead to put in the car to make weight!

Ken,
Yeah I would be using the udx for display and sportsman for data log but that might be super overkill for a high 10 second car. I am going to put a call into teamZ to get Dave's input on if it's needed for chassis tuning or not. Quite a large chunk of money for a tuning tool.
