Im looking to buy some new tires for my 06 GT and I want the widest tire for the rear that will fit the 8.5 width rim, without sacraficing performance. I would also like to go with BFG or Nitto. Can you suggest anything for me? Thanks.

295's would fit great.
275's or 285's 295's might be a bit big, bfg or nitto its really up to you they are both great tires
295s? I was under the impression the tires would fit, but the performance would really be lacking, especially in the corners. Can anyone confirm for sure?
ya they will fit but your not going to get teh full potential of the tires
