there is a dB limit at Laguna Seca because of the houses nearby. i you go over, they kick you off. they take the sound limit away for the big races.

basically yes. there was a porsche club autocross in santa barbara on Sunday, and stock Porsche's were over the sound limit. supposedly the sound limit is lower than the federal or state requirement, so stock cars can be too loud.

i think he means that its a waste to spend that much on suspension when there really aren't too many places to use that much grip without getting a ticket.
