I was just wondering what you guys get? My dad has an 02 GT Auto which i have been driving lately and it gets around 21mpg mixed city and highway. I took it on a road trip and it got 26mph on the highway going 75mph!!! How does a cobra compare?

I had a 2000 GT with an FRPP 2000 Cobra crate motor (car sold a while ago)
and I consistently got 28 MPG highway.
All I did to it was a K&N filter, an intake spacer and FRPP coated shorties.
The guy I sold it to drove it from S. Florida to Mass. and got 31.5 highway.
My 04 Mach has gotten a best of 29.97 highway.

It all depends on how much I abuse the loud pedal.

In town = 12 - 15
Highway = 21 - 23

Never bought the car w/the intention of trying to get awesome mileage....

I usually get 18 at low and 22 for high average of 20. The speed limit in my city is 45mph and then some of the bigger parts are 55mph.

I'm not calling you a liar or anything, but that's just shocking! The best I ever got was 26 or 27 on a cross country run. These cars really aren't bad. The od and the motor is efficient, not the "efficient" that greenies tout for cars, but true power in vs power out efficient.

Yes they require premium. It comes out to like 3 bucks more a tank.

wow those sound like Hybrid numbers to me......Im a Los Angeles City Driver.

Im lucky if I get 200 Miles to my entire tank. Its perty bad when gas is almost 5 bucks here. I never get 250 to a tank or even close.
