I saw that part, but didn't fully understand their daily selling either lolThey've had MAJOR selling since the launch of the ETFs....yesterday was the first positive inflow day for them. Could mean the tide is turning?? idk

Weekends seem to be quite wonky for BTC

The CEO will likely follow the same strategy as Microstrategy's did and dump shares like there's no tomorrow. But hey, make that $$$!another company is enacting the Microstrategy...strategy.
They are buying bitcoin with their treasury cash and holding it.
I'm very curious to see what happens to their stock price, if they borrow to buy more bitcoin etc.

Understood. I'm just always suspicious when CEO's dump their shares in such large volumes.microstrategy chart since they bought bitcoin is up about 1200%.
sort of hard to believe another company would be successful doing the same thing.

But why not just buy bitcoin directly instead of utilizing these stocks?traditionally, yes.
In this case, they are selling to then borrow/buy more bitcoin, which theoretically, brings more value to their company (as the price of bitcoin appreciates).
IF this works for SMLR, then you have 2 companies that unlocked/confirmed a new cheat code.
That's when things could get pretty interesting pretty quickly.

Okay, but the volatility and large short positions of stocks like MSTR make some traders like myself rather apprehensive. In April, bitcoin went down 11% but MSTR went down almost 29%. If I was going to go into crypto I would avoid the stocks that buy it and go a more direct route. Leverage can really burn you sometimes.I "think" b/c what companies can do at the moment, what MSTR did, is leverage their stock and BTC holdings, to borrow more money at low rates, to then buy more BTC...which is almost a weird infinite loop that follows....they borrow/sell stock to buy more bitcoin...price of bitcoin goes up so their stock price goes up...which causes them to sell more stock/borrow more to buy more bitcoin which causes their stock to go up as bitcoin goes up.
The danger is...what if bitcoin stops going up and then goes down for years and years and years.
This sort of "almost" happened to MSTR during the last bear market, however, they had enough bitcoin on hand they could put up some bitcoin as collateral if needed.
