I get that some people are flamboyant and want to extend that to the vehicle they drive. I just happen to prefer clean, simple, void of Barnum and Bailey homage.

I look at it this way. I chose the silver exterior for a reason. When I went to the Track Attack for the GT500, FPRS had every color vehicle on display. I was immediately drawn to the Iconic version. Boy did it ever look sharp out in the sun in comparison to all the others. It also looked classier in my view and that is something I'd like to do here. The Bronco Raptor has some funky lines with the rather bulbous flares and my hope is that the painted version makes them look better integrated.

And I'd like to extend that into the interior and have it look a bit more grown up. I agree with you about Ford and that they should have included the colored bits all together in the Code Orange option. Regardless, I just look forward to opening the door and being greeted with class and not class clown. My apologies to those that embrace their flamboyance and want to drive around in it...:)

I'm not getting the orange trim either. Seems like that would be more appealing to someone in their teens or 20s yet most of that demographic likely can't afford this vehicle or hates America and wants a foreign ride.

Deaf ears.

I get a kick out of the gut reactions. Ford didn't listen very well IMHO.

Parts and pieces have started to show up to address the orange on the grab handles, the dash vent tabs, and the recessed "BRONCO" dash face shown on this Bronco Raptor (for example).

The cost for four of these tabs is rather silly but was much less than buying the entire vent assemblies from Ford.

Legit fiber under the "domed gel" grab handle inlays.

Ford licensed Iconic silver letters in domed gel as well to either cover the orange or I may use them on a new, factory black dash. Still not sure which way until I see how the dash looks in the flesh.

You'll have your sweaty palms on that Bronco soon enough. I really like the interior trim changes you're going to make. BIG improvement. Ford needs to hire design people with more common sense regarding trim. Much of their stuff is just plain horrible IMO. It isn't just Ford who is guilty of this automotive sin.

Nice!!! I want to order just one new vehicle exactly as I want it. I tried with Nick on a 21 Raptor back then but after 2 months it fizzled out and got cancelled. Chips and Covid and end of year I believe. I got impatient and found my Current 20 Raptor which sadly I paid MSRP being a year old and 30k miles. I looked every where for a better deal, none. I told Nick we could try again on a 25 F150 Raptor. We'll see how I feel at that moment.

In spirit, I'm there. I won't be able to break free until I visit Nick to pick up your Braptor's brother. You testing a new tune?

I still can't generate a window sticker but I did find something else. At some point today I was able to input the VIN into a field on the Motorcraft service page that allows you to access the "As-Built" data for a given Ford vehicle. In other words, my Bronco Raptor is incomplete and at some stage on the assembly line with at least one of the control modules programmed (or partially programmed). There is no tear tag number yet which confirms incompletion.

I was unable to generate a sticker but had a contact (thank you!) see it pop up this morning and send it to me.

It shows a blend date of 05/24 if I'm reading it right. My understanding is that blend is the point where the chassis and body meet on the assembly line to go through final assembly. My place on the line is 1012 out of 1316 units scheduled units to begin the final assembly process on 05/24. Those numbers are both Bronco and Ranger as they both run down the same assembly line. And yeah, the pricing has gone full insanity on the Bronco Raptor. Thankfully, Nick offered it to me at a price I couldn't refuse and I am excited to make the flight out to him and the drive back.

And I had forgotten about the Bronco Off-Roadeo which is included with the purchase. I did the Track Attack in Utah for my GT350 and in Charlotte for the GT500 Nick sold me and they were awesome experiences. That would probably be next summer for me and should be a blast.

I'm eager with anticipation and it's a feeling I've missed having. There was a lot of excitement when the GT500 came out but Covid seemed to kind of put a lid on everything. The Bronco Raptor experience is the cold water to the face at just the right moment and I cannot wait to walk into Nick's dealership and see it for the first time.
