I have to argue that a C7 ZR1 ZTK manual is not just a C7. It’s a historic end of an era with extremely low production numbers.

I get it. But I don't collect cars, I buy them to drive and mod. From this perspective it's a c7z with a 2650 and a large wing.
I don’t either but I like minimizing loss. Anyway, million ways to look at it. Biggest thing for me is I just much prefer how the C7 drives over the C8
A lot of car for the money but considering with ADM it will be $250k, there are a ton cars I'd buy in front it. GT3, Turbo S, a bunch of Huracan's, 720s, etc. Even the C7 ZR1's at over $100k, GTFO here, it's a Chevy for Christs sake.
A Huracan is a pos Audi… the Corvette is a better car in pretty much every way

The ADMs will be stupid for a couple of years, though there are dealers that will sell them at MSRP (mine does). The price will right itself eventually. Z06s can now be had at a discount. The ZR1 will get there as well unless GM really holds production to a low level.
I'd hate getting a near $200k car serviced at a local GM dealer. They really dont have the ownership experience or the infrastructure necessary for people accustomed to high end vehicles. Just imagine your car is in a bay next to a fleet model silverado and the same tech is working on both. You get you car back with dirt all over the floor mats, grease stain on the seats and the whole car reeks of cigarette smoke. You dont get a loaner and they dont bother detailing the car before its returned to you.
At these price levels im cross shopping slightly used exotics. In the eyes of 99.9% of the general public its a "still a chevy."

Is that a joke or something? An average Corvette is a POS. An average Audi is a nice luxury sports car.... There is ZERO comparison between the two brands zero!
Just interior design alone is worlds apart..... Chevy gets a plastic cheap interior Audi gets luxurious leather with beautiful fit and finish.
The R8 is one of the best sports cars ever made and was released 20 years ago when the corvette was nothing buit a joke smh.
Its a 100x nicer than any Corvette including this one. It is dope but calling an Audi a POS when comparing to a Chevy Corvette is comical at best.....
Don't the dealer and tech need to be Corvette Certified or something to work on the higher models?
Audi lol. Of all the cars mentioned in this thread I havnt heard one that will even come close to the performance numbers that the new ZR1 will produce. Also its not a limited run so it doesn’t matter how much social media clout you have or if you own a dealership. Everyone who wants this car will be able to get one….eventually.

The car is ****ing incredible for what you get for that price. It's honestly underpriced by at least $75k. I'm not really a fan of the C8 in general but it's a totally insane prospect to sell a mid-engine car that's over 1000 hp for that money, and honestly I'm sure the car is quite good regardless. I don't know how anyone could do anything but applaud the effort, even if it doesn't particularly excite them personally.
